There's a lot of material out there — and even more marketing that sounds good but delivers poorly. We stick to what actually works: 316 surgical steel and 18k PVD gold. Nothing else.

316 stainless steel, the foundation of everything we do

316 is the same steel grade used in surgical instruments, marine constructions, and medical implants. This is no coincidence—it was chosen because it can withstand almost anything: water, sweat, salt, perfume, and time.

For you who wear jewellery, this means:

  • Never rusts—not even if you swim in the sea or forget to take it off in the shower
  • Does not discolour—no green on the skin, no black spots, no surprises
  • Skin-friendly material choice—316 surgical steel contains nickel as part of the alloy. How the skin reacts varies from person to person.
  • Maintains its shape—steel is harder than silver and gold, which means rings do not deform and chains do not bend

Many fashion jewellery pieces look good in pictures. 316 steel also looks good a year later.

18k PVD gold, not regular plating

Regular gold plating is applied in a thin layer on top of the metal — and often disappears within weeks or months with normal wear and tear.

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) works differently. The gold is vaporized in a vacuum chamber and bonded directly to the steel at a molecular level. The result is a layer that is harder, denser, and significantly more resistant than traditional plating.

In practice, this means:

  • Water-resistant — shower, swim, exercise without thinking about it

Before a piece of jewelry enters our collection, its materials, finish, and durability are checked. If it doesn't meet our requirements, we don't include it — no matter how good it looks in a picture.

We know that many of you truly love jewelry – but can't wear most pieces without experiencing a reaction. Red ears, itchy neck, swollen wrists. This is an everyday reality for many.

Why do people react to jewelry? Most reactions are caused by nickel – a common base material in inexpensive alloys and even in some silver and gold-plated jewelry. When the plating wears off, nickel is released directly onto the skin. That's when the reaction occurs.

Why is 316 steel different? 316 surgical steel contains a small amount of nickel, but the nickel is chemically bound within the alloy and is not released onto the skin under normal circumstances. This is why the same material is used for surgical instruments, piercings, and medical implants – it is designed not to react with body tissue.
